Under the patronage and blessings of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, the “Riyada” (Entrepreneurship) Initiative launched its first training course for the staff of business incubators at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Ministry has committed to enhancing university outputs by adopting the principles of entrepreneurship through all available means, including collaboration with the Riyada Initiative in the Prime Minister’s Office.
On Sunday, April 6, 2025, the head of the Riyada Initiative team, Dr. Hussein Falamarz, inaugurated the training course for staff of the technological incubator. The course included 20 trainers from various public and private universities and colleges in Iraq and ran from April 6 to 9, 2025. The sessions were led by Dr. Hussein Falamarz and consultant engineer Saleh Ahmed, offering intensive training on project planning and management, along with focused lessons and exercises.
The aim of the course is to certify qualified Riyada trainers equipped with effective skills and methods to strengthen the role of the technological incubator in empowering ambitious students and graduates to establish their own startups and independent projects that contribute to the national economy.
It is worth noting that the Riyada Initiative continues to conduct development courses for its trainers in cooperation with all relevant institutions.
