The Minister of Education launches the Ecosystem Project for the University of Technology

The Minister of Education launches the Ecosystem Project for the University of Technology and emphasizes enhancing the university’s productive environment and enabling graduates to become entrepreneurs.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboodi, launched the Ecosystem Project for the University of Technology and emphasized enhancing the university’s productive environment and enabling graduates to become entrepreneurs, program developers, and innovators.

During the launch ceremony of the Ecosystem Project, attended by university presidents, academics, and representatives from the private sector, the Minister of Education stated that this project represents a qualitative human capital asset and an important pillar towards development, enhancing the university’s productive environment, and fostering program development and project innovation.

He added that the Ministry of Higher Education’s law, which stipulated quantitative and qualitative changes in scientific, technological, and cultural movement and keeping pace with the indicators of modernization in knowledge fields, has made educational institutions continuously interact with the needs of society and development requirements.

The Minister of Education further elaborated that the Ecosystem Project at the University of Technology comes within the context of empowering young graduates to embark on ambitious endeavors and achieve real work steps through productive partnerships with private sector institutions that attract entrepreneurs and project ideators.

In this regard, the Ministry’s Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, Haider Abdul Dahd, outlined the stages of establishing the Ecosystem system and its mechanisms in accordance with the aspirations and strategies of the Ministry aimed at achieving the project of productive, supportive universities that meet the needs of the labor market.

Furthermore, the President of the University of Technology emphasized that the university is committed to finding solutions to graduates’ employment and enabling them through partnerships that serve entrepreneurship areas, while systems experts and project management provided an overview of the importance of the Ecosystem system in strengthening cooperation with the private sector, attracting graduates, and implementing projects.
